This help article is meant to assist Admins in debugging common people related issues. These steps can be taken to help resolve the following common issues:
- Missing person profile
- Person profile data is Incorrect
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Identify the primary People datasource by navigating to Admin Workspace > Setup > People Data. Here you will find the People datasource. In the image below, we see that the People data is "Connected to Google Drive".
2. Once you confirm the People datasource, verify the user is present in the source and has the following required information (Email, Department, Manager). If any of these fields are missing, the profile may have been marked as invalid.
3. If the user has the required information in the source, then check the Glean field mappings to confirm we are pulling the correct fields by selecting "Update data" in the "People data" tab. Here you will find the field mappings.
4. If the field mappings look incorrect and you require help changing the mapping, Glean Support can help with this request.
